Disclosure to Third Party Providers and Subprocessors.  Boomtown engages third party service providers or data subprocessors to assist in providing analytics, data storage, and other services. Disclosure With Your Consent. In addition to the sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may share Personal Information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Boomtown if we obtain your consent to do so.

EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation

The European Union’s and United Kingdom’s GDPR provides certain rights to online users located in EU countries or the UK (“Data Subjects”). A Data Subject has the right to access or rectify their Personal Information that Boomtown processes. Subject to certain exceptions, a Data Subject has the right to request that Boomtown erase that Personal Information or restrict or object to the processing of it. When technically feasible, Boomtown will, at the Data Subject’s request, provide that person’s Personal Information to them or transmit it directly to another data controller. Additionally, Data Subjects also have the right to appeal a decision we have made regarding the exercise of their privacy rights and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including in your country of residence, place of work, or where an incident took place. Data Subjects also have the right to file a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority. Boomtown relies on the legitimate interests (except as where otherwise noted) described above for processing Data Subjects’ Personal Information including: responding to professional inquiries and requests for our services, and improving our website and services.

To comply with the EU and UK GDPR’s requirements, Boomtown transfers Data Subjects’ Personal Information to other countries outside the United Kingdom or European Union, as applicable, only: (1) consistent with an adequacy decision under the GDPR; (2) pursuant to suitable safeguards; or (3) consistent with another permissible transfer mechanism where appropriate. Your Personal Information is stored by Boomtown on our servers and on the servers of the cloud-based data storage providers it engages. Boomtown takes the privacy of your information seriously. We use industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures and safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of Personal Information. However, the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, and it is your responsibility to protect the security of your account and login information. Please note that content you store or transmit through the website, or e-mails and other communications you send to us, may not be encrypted.
